I did my third dance shoot along side fellow photographer Nikki from www.nikkijenniferphotography.com and although I wasn’t able to shoot for a short time I did get some good shots. However I got some shots that I love from the last shoot that are just hard to beat.

Kodomo no Hi
Although I’m of Japanese heritage, I was born and raised in Hawaii where the Japanese culture is not exactly the same as in Japan. Traditionally the koi should represent the males in the family with the father being the biggest koi and the smaller ones represent the sons. I’m keeping the third one on for Aly just because. I guess that’s okay since in the old tradition May 5th was strictly “Boy’s Day” and now it is “Kodomo no Hi” or “Children’s Day”, even though we still celebrate “Hinamatsuri” (Girl’s Day), on March 3rd.
